Our Story

Lucky Dog Enterprises was born in 2003 and Lucky Dog Central was opened in 2004. The founders of Lucky Dog had a desire to offer something a little bit different than the average dog care facility. Freedom to try new ways of running our daycare, the size of our playfloors and kennels, and the procedures we follow, are our original ideas. We do not take orders from a franchise or corporate office. We are the Corporation! The end result of this freedom is what you see today, but our evolution is not complete.

In December 2006, Lucky Dog South was born, and the tradition of quality care continued.

We never stop looking for a better way to take good care of your great dog! As we expand and grow, our staff will grow with us. Dog guardians can become Managers, and Managers become Operations Managers. We are a dog training school, and presently both Resort managers are dog trainers themselves.

 If our employees see a better way to do things, we listen. We now employee approximately 35 people, and 35 heads are better than one!

The future of Lucky Dog is unlimited! We are looking forward to providing the same great quality of daycare to other areas of Colorado Springs in the near future.
