PUPPY KINDERGARTEN, 8 Weeks, $125.00
Ages 8 weeks through 5 months
Requirements: Puppies must have had at least the second distemper/parvo vaccine and the bordetella (canine cough) vaccine (at least 72 hours before class), a maximum of ten puppies will be accepted into this class. First class will be an orientation without your pup.
Your Pup Will Learn: Basic obedience, socialization, housetraining, and prevention of behavioral problems. Puppy play includes different surfaces, play equipment, and learing good doggie etiquette (so important for alleviating future problems). Off leash playtime will will be the first 15 minutes of class, so don't be late! Training booklet included, games and prizes!
BEGINNING OBEDIENCE, 8 Week, $125.00
Dogs 6 months and older
Requirements: Up to date vaccines (distemper/parvo and rabies) and bordetella (canine cough), or canine cough titre, within 6 months (and at least 72 hours before class). First class without your dog. Maximum 10 dogs per class.
Your Lucky Dog Will Learn: Basic obedience come, sit, down, stay, etc., socialization, and good doggie etiquette. Problem behaviors will be addressed, and problem solving methods discussed and practiced. This class includes some clicker work.
Angie's class is provided with a booklet, and includes games and prizes. Brian includes some clicker work, clicker and work sheets provided
DOGGIE MANNERS - $110, 5 Weeks
This fun class is designed to teach your dog manners quickly. We will develop your dog's sit-stay, down-stay, leave it and wait. Our class will cover other important impulse control exercises, such as loose leash walking. Dogs attending should already have a basic level of training including sit, down, stay and come. Dogs who are not comfortable around other dogs on leash and or strangers, will not benefit from this class. Classes are WITH dogs from the first night on.
BEGINNING CLICKER CLASSES, 8 Week, $125.00
Dogs 5 months and older
Requirements: Maximum 10 dogs with two instructors. Up to date vaccines (distemper/parvo and rabies) and bordetella (canine cough) or bordetella titre, within 6 months(and at least 72 hours before class). First 2.5 hour class without dogs.
Your Lucky Dog Will Learn: Socialization with exposure to canes, crutches, hats, sunglasses, strollers, etc. Learn how to desensitize your dog to touch, canine health care, ear and dental care, nail clipping, brushing and bathing. Teach your dog sit, wait, come, off, down, stay, leave it, watch me, and walk nice on a leash. Includes one clicker.
CALLING ALL TRAINED DOGS! Intermediate, 8 weeks, $125.00
Requirements: Up to date on all vaccines (distemper/parvo and rabies) and bordetella, or bordetella titre, withing 6 months (and at least 72 hours before class. Maximum 10 dogs.This class is offered to all pet dogs that have completed a beginning obedience course. First class is orientation without your dog.
Your Lucky Dog Will Learn: Proof your obedience and take it to the next level. You will be given new insight into technique, exercises working towards a goal of off leash control and having fun with your dog!
CANINE GOOD CITIZEN CLASS, 7 Weeks, $125
Would you like your dog to qualify for the Canine Good Citizen test? This class will prepare you and your dog for the test! We will cover every part of the test including: Accepting a stranger, sitting politely for petting, appearance and grooming, walking outside with loose leash, walking through a crowd, sit/down on command and stay, coming when called, reaction to other dogs, reaction to distraction and supervised separation.

PET DOG AGILITY, 6 Weeks, $110
Requirements: Up to date vaccines (distemper/parvo, rabies) and bordetella (canine cough) or bordetella tirtre within 6 months. Knowledge of basic obedience commands is necessary, and dog must be at least 10 months old. Limit of 10 dogs in class.
Your Lucky Dog Will Learn: Introduction to agility equipment. At the end of the course there will be a "fun match" to win prizes. This course is a "fun" agility course for pet dogs, not advanced agility dogs. No agressive dogs permitted. Click here for more info on agility.
PACK SOCIALIZATION, 5 day increments/weekdays only, $175 per 5 day session or $275 per 10 day session
Requirements: Vaccines up to date (distemper/parvo and rabies)and bordetella vaccine within 6 months (and at least 72 hours before attending class). Dog must be social enough to begin this training. Trainer will evaluate dog at first visit to determine that this requirement is met.
Your Lucky Dog Will Learn: To speak dog! Many owners would like to bring their dog to dog daycare, go for walks or to dog parks, but are unable to do this because their dog is anti-social or overly shy with other dogs. Trainer Brian Moore has developed an introduction process for dogs with social problems, that presents a one-on-one training program for this problem, during 2 hr per day sessions. Your dog will begin working and walking with our demonstration dogs, and progress to in-the-pack work with Brian. Brian will help your dog understand what other dogs are trying to say to him, and to calm his "threatened" behavior. At home work explained to continued improvement in the home. Length of course determined by severity and type of problem.
EXTREME K-9 PROGRAM, Angie Neal, By arrangement with trainer
Cost - First initial in-home evaluation is $100.00 for 2 hrs, follow-up sessions are $100.00 for 1 1/2 hours and will be pre-paid. Sessions are scheduled 2 weeks apart. Vet exam may be recommended.

Separation anxiety, severe phobias (thunder, noise etc.), extreme shyness, leash agression/frustration, hyper and overstimulated dogs, possession and resource guarding, dog aggression, human aggression.
GRUMPY DOG CLASS, Hannah Padilla, Class time 1 Hour 15 min/7 weeks $200
Does your dog bark, lunge or throw a tantrum when she sees another dog? This class is designed to teach owners how to manage dogs that act aggressively towards other dogs, when on leash. The dog owner will learn techniques of distraction and reward when their dogs are on leash in public places, or anywhere another dog may be encountered.
Dogs must be pre-screened before being accepted into the class.
SLOW PACK INTRODUCTION, Brian Moore, Class time - Approx 45 minutes - By arrangement with trainer, Cost: $20.00
Requirements: All vaccines (distemper/parvo and rabies) bordetella (canine cough) within 6 months (and at least 72 hours before class).
THIS CLASS IS REQUIRED FOR ALL AMERICAN STAFFORSHIRE TERRIERS WHO WANT TO JOIN PLAYGROUP.
A one-on-one slow introduction to the pack environment. For those who feel their dogs may need some extra help adjusting to the pack do to the lack of social exposure, extreme shyness, or for powerful assertive dogs who may need some help communicating correctly with other dogs. THIS IS CLASS IS NOT FOR DOGS WITH KNOWN AGRESSION! (see Pack Socialization) Trainer will accompany your dog into the pack, and stay with him as a "buddy" for two hours. You will be advised as to his reaction and how well he adjusted to the pack environment.
TRICKS CLASS, Brian Moore, Class Time 1 hour - 6 weeks - $100
This is a fun class designed to teach your dog those tricks we all like to see dogs do - play dead, bone-on-nose, turn in circles, etc. Please contact instructor for details on requirements.
IN-HOME PRIVATE CONSULTATIONS, All Trainers, Three 1 1/2 hour sessions at your home (private one-on-one work). Cost - $300.00
Each session is scheduled 2 weeks apart. This is a customized program to suit your needs from obedience, housebreaking, leash manners, door bolting, counter surfing, coming when called etc.
IN-BOARD TRAINING, Brian Moore,at Lucky Dog South, and Hannah Glass at Lucky Dog Central. By arrangement with trainer - cost dependent on length of stay.
Hannah or Brian will work on basic obedience, social problems etc. while your dog is boarding at Lucky Dog Central or South.
