LUCKY DOG TRAINING SCHOOL RULES--SAFETY IS OUR #1 MOTTO!

*  All vaccinations must be up to date to include proof of bordatella or bordatella titre,  (canine cough) (over 72 hours) within the last 6 months.

*  Please have your dog on a 6-foot leash or a 4-foot leash (4 foot preferred). We do not allow retractable Flexi-leashes or chain leashes in class. Please have your dog on a flat, buckle collar. We do not allow choke collars, prong collars or shock collars. (If you are used to using a choke, chain or prong collar, we will help you wean your dog off of this method of control).

*  Halti/Gentle Leader-style halters, Sense-ation, Sense-ible, and Easy-Walk Harnesses are acceptable.

All dogs must stay separated on a leash.  No contact is allowed with other dogs at any time, unless otherwise instructed.

*  Feed your dog only 1/4 of his/her dinner prior to class participation. If there is a health concern please let us know.

*  Please notify the instructor of any physical or health problems relative to handlers/students or pets. Please advise the instructor if your dog is currently or has recently been sick.

*  We reserve the right to remove any dog from class. Private lessons are available for dogs who are not able to handle group classes.

*  Families are welcome to attend classes together, however, you will be responsible for the behavior of your children at all times. Children must sit quietly for the entire lesson or please leave them at home. Any child training a dog in class must be at least ten years old. Parents can hold the leash for children under ten, so they can participate in class. A parent or guardian must also attend.

*  Rough handling of dogs will not be tolerated.

*  You will be expected to clean up after your dog. BYOB (Bring Your Own Bag)!

*  Please wear shoes with soles that provide good, stable traction.
